A Lot Of Sad Stuff Out There Today!

Most evenings when I come home I like to log on and then sign into my blog in order to read all the blogs out there that I follow. Most days I get more than a few laughs, but today, not so much. Today I read three blogs that made me feel really sad, and this along with all the ugly news of the world and locally...well it was just too much for me. So I went searching for a blog that would make me laugh, because I don't like to drink while blogging then cry and go to bed. When this happens sleep doesn't. What can I say I'm sensitive and I won't say I'm sorry for it. It is what it is and I am who I am, so there you are, me in a nut shell.

If you, like me, have found some blogs that just bummed you out, or if your local and the national news is too much to take, and if you would like to take a minute to escape, take a gander here. Really, the blog is too cute and it always puts a smile on my face.

Happy Reading

  2. Chrissy, so sorry. When I made my post on Tuesday night with the link to a blog that makes me smile, the Wordless Wednesday 2 missing dogs post wasn't there. Damn, just my luck that a sad post would be the first thing people see in my recommended go to "Feel Good" blog. See, there is a lot of sad shit out there. When you are able to forgive me, check out the whole blog....a lot of cute stuff is there. Sorry again, please forgive.

  3. I too have read a couple posts lately that have been about the loss of a pet. And that makes me VERY sad.

I too am sensitive, so I know what you mean.

Most of the blogs that I've been reading for the past three years are usually funny or thought-provoking, but I do read that "sad" post every once in a while.

Hey, I just read your header and I LOVE the quote you shared by Carol Burnett!

  4. Yes, I agree. Some posts are sad and gloomy. As is the world in general, some days. But thanks to your post, you guided me to a smile. Thanks!
